So what is difference between Reiki 1 and Reiki 2? Quite simply every level builds upon the intensity of the previous one, that is to say that when you are attuned to Reiki 2 additional energy centres are open that connect you to a greater volume of Reiki Energy.

The purpose of Reiki 2 is to provide you with three sacred Reiki symbols that all have their own specific function. These symbols can then be used as a focus to enable you to strengthen mental and emotional healing and to send absentee healing.  A large part of the Reiki second degree is associated with the understanding and use of these symbols.

In Reiki 2 not unlike Reiki 1 you are attuned to this level.  It is possible that you may find yourself feeling a greater degree of sensitivity and possibly psychic awareness too. The Reiki 2 attunement amplifies the energy of the etheric body as oppose to the physical.

Techniques are taught to enable you to:

• Focus the energy on the release of mental and emotional blocks.
• Focus your mind to enable to send Reiki energy beyond time and space and thus bring about effective absentee healing.

Reiki 2 Course Outline is a one-day course which covers the following:,

1. Questions and Answers from your experiences with Reiki 1 to establish knowledge and understanding
2. Meditation
3. Reiki 2 Attunement
4. Reiki 2 symbols – learning to draw and use
5. Absent healing techniques
6. Empowering and healing events (past and future)
7. Hands-on practical session
8. Other uses of the symbols
9. Working with crystals
10. Sensing  auras
11. Sharing Reiki
12. Practising Reiki Professionally
13. Questions and Answers.

You are encouraged once again to give yourself a Reiki treatment every day for 30 days following the completion of the course for the same reasons outlined in Reiki 1.

Reiki 2 will provide the necessary training and discipline required for you to operate publicly as a Reiki practitioner if this is your intention.

On completion of the course, you will receive an illustrated Reiki Manual, the Second Degree Reiki Certificate as well as on-going support and advice.
